Proteas crumble after lunch on day 2, bowled out for 138

South Africa are with their backs to the wall on day two of the ICC World Test Championship final against Australia at Lord’s in London.

Going into lunch at 121/5, the Proteas lost a further five wickets post lunch for just 17 runs, ending their first innings 138 all out.

The Proteas, who resumed their first innings on 43 for the loss of four wickets trailing Australia by 169 runs, finished their first innings trailing by 74 runs.

Captain Temba Bavuma and David Bedingham put on 64 for the fifth wicket before Bavuma was dismissed for 34.

Bedingham top scored with 45, with no players getting half centuries.

Australia are currently at 15 without loss and have a lead of 89.
