Cricket ball hits the stumps
The South African men’s cricket team remains on course for a place in the final of the ICC Test Championship, following their victory by 233 runs in the first test against Sri Lanka at Kingsmead in Durban.
The visitors, who were set a target of 516 for victory, were bowled out for 282 in their second innings.
There were half centuries for Dinesh Chandimal and captain Dhananjaya de Silva, while Proteas all-rounder, Marco Jansen, picked up four for 73 for a match haul of 11 wickets.
He was named man of the match.
