Limpopo police say they are investigating the killing of the 51-year-old man who was shot and killed allegedly by a farmer at Maphalle outside Giyani in Limpopo.
Joseph Machipi was shot while allegedly hunting on a farm with two companions on Monday.
His body was recovered on Friday.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says they are still looking for the suspects.
“On Friday 23rd January 2026, members of the community were searching again when they found the victim had already passed away. His body was already decomposed. The suspects are unknown at this stage, but investigations are ongoing to apprehend all those involved.”
