David Mphephu has testified that Princess Masindi Mphephu’s mother, Fulufhelo, was never identified as the future ‘dzekiso’ wife to Princess Masindi’s father Dimabanyika Mphephu Ramabulana.

This after Masindi’s lawyer Advocate Allan Dodson had argued that the father of the former king, Patrick “Ramaano” Mphephu, had identified Fulufhelo, as the future ‘dzekiso’ wife.

David Mphephu has said that Fulufhelo was never introduced to the royal family council, and she never performed any rituals.

David Mphephu is being cross-examined by Advocate Dodson in the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo in Vhavenda crown case.

“We are saying that her mother never performed any rituals, and she is not a dzekiso wife to us the Mphephu royal concil whether she is a good person or not the fact remains her mother is not a dzekiso wife she was just Dimbanyika wife”.
