Hundreds of community members in Khayelitsha, in Cape Town, have gathered at the Thusong Service Centre to take part in the Presidential Youth Engagement.
It is now Deputy President Paul Mashatile, and no longer President Cyril Ramaphosa, who will engage the youth in the roundtable gathering.
This is part of ongoing consultations with stakeholders ahead of the 2026 State of the Nation Address on Thursday at the Cape Town City Hall.
The roundtable is hosted in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency in the Presidency.
