Junior Springbok prop Zachary Porthen is the only uncapped player in the touring squad.
Former Junior Springbok prop and captain, Zachary Porthen, has earned his first Springbok call-up. He has been included in coach Rassie Erasmus’ 36-man squad for the end-of-year tour to the Northern Hemisphere.
Potham made his United Rugby Championship debut for the Stormers in May this year and is the only uncapped player in the touring squad.
Three players will also return to the Bok set-up for the first time this season.
They are flanker Ben-Jason Dixon, hooker Johan Grobbelaar and prop Gerhard Steenekamp. Two-time World Cup-winning hooker, Bongo Mbonambi, is one of 10 players named on a standby list.
The reigning World Cup champions will face Japan at Wembley Stadium in London on November 1 in the first of their five test matches.
