Drugs seized by police at Garden Route District.
Police have seized mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of over R700 000 in Malibu Village near Blue Downs, Cape Town.
Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi says officers followed up on information when they made the bust.
“Police members of Operation Restore deployed in the Tygerberg Sub District followed up on information of drug-related incidents in Malibu Village which led the members to an address in Lima Street.
The members initiated a search of the premises which led to the confiscation of mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R781 250
They detained a 49-year-old man for dealing in drugs.”
