The bodies of three people, including two women, have been found in Xakabantu in Muizenberg, in the Western Cape. Police spokesperson Andre Traut says the bodies which were found last night have gunshot wounds.

He says the fourth person was wounded and has been admitted to hospital.
Traut also says the suspects fled the scene.
“While detectives are gathering clues in a bit to come to the bottom of the incident, policing in the area has been intensified to prevent any further violence,” says Traut.

The motive for the attack remains unclear, he adds.
