Grade 11 learner from the Martie du Plessis Special Needs School, Kamogelo Baukudi.
Police have launched a search for a 19-year-old Grade 11 learner from the Martie du Plessis Special Needs School in Fichardtpark, Bloemfontein.
This comes as kidnapping cases have reached alarming levels in the country.
Two men impersonating police allegedly kidnapped Kamogelo Baukudi yesterday.
Police say the men were in a double-cab with blue lights when they pulled over the learner and his driver.
One of the men was wearing a police uniform and the other a blue tracksuit.
It is alleged that the uniformed police officer told the boy’s driver that his vehicle was suspected of delivering drugs.
The suspects then separated the pair, took their cell phones and instructed the driver to drive in front of them while they followed with the pupil to the Park Road Police Station.
However, on the way, a truck got in between the two vehicles and the suspects disappeared along with the boy in their car.
Police are investigating a case of kidnapping and impersonating the police.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the police.
