More suspects have been taken in for questioning in connection with the brutal killing of 30-year-old student Olorato Mongale.
A manhunt continues for more suspects believed to be involved in the matter.
Some of the suspects are believed to be residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
Mongale was found dead after she went on a date with her alleged killer, who had picked her up from her residential complex. Her body was dumped at Lombardy West.
One suspect was killed in a shootout with police in Durban in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Law enforcement in both Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal is working together to find a breakthrough in the case.
Mongale will be buried this weekend in Bloemfontein.
