A wanted Mozambican kidnapper has been shot and killed during a confrontation with the South African Police Services (SAPS) anti-kidnapping task team in Kempton Park.
That’s according to SAPS National Spokesperson, Brigadier Athlenda Mathe.
Mathe says the 40-year-old was on SERNIC, which is Mozambique’s Wanted Persons Database.
He has been linked to at least five kidnapping for ransom cases in South Africa.
