Phala Phala trial postponed to March 13th

The trial involving three people accused of stealing 580 000 US dollars from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in February 2020 has been postponed to March 13 at the Modimolle Regional Court in Limpopo.

The 20th state witness on Friday testified about how he assisted accused number one, Imanuwela David, to deposit more than R1 million into a car dealership account.

The deposit was made on 18 November 2020. The media is not allowed to identify the witness.

David and the Joseph siblings, Froliana and Ndilinasho, are facing several charges, including theft and housebreaking, for the February 2020 incident.
