The accused, Imanuwela David, Froliana Joseph and her brother Ndilinasho Joseph, who are linked to the theft of $580,000 at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm, Phala Phala appear in the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court in Limpop on October 7, 2024.
Transactions on the bank accounts of the first accused in the case of theft from President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in Limpopo were analysed to show activity before and after the break in.
This is according to the investigating officer who was cross-examined by the lawyer of the first accused, Imanuwela David, at the Modimolle Regional Court today.
He said David started receiving large amounts of money after the break-in.
“Your Worship, the matter was referred to our office, when it was referred to our office there was this allegation that there was a break in where money … $580,000 was stolen. I was saying these accounts before the break in they received this much,” adds the investigating officer.
“After the break in they received this much, because there’s an investigation of house breaking in 2020 February. So I was showing that before the break in, this account was receiving this much, after the breaking in this account receiving this much. I was making comparison,” he explains.
