Former Orlando Pirates coach, Owen Da Gama, has been appointed as the new head coach of Carling Knock-out Cup champions, Magesi FC.
Da Gama’s appointment comes at a crucial time for the reigning Carling Knock-out Cup champions as they aim to stabilise their coaching staff and improve their position on the Betway Premiership log.
Magesi are bottom of the log with just one win from 10 matches.
The Limpopo-based club has been without a head coach since Clinton Larsen’s resignation two weeks ago.
Papi Zothwane was in the dug-out when Orlando Pirates beat Magesi one-nil at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday.
