Orlando Pirates became the first team to advance to the MTN 8 semi-final.The Buccaneers beat Polokwane City 2-0 in the quarterfinal match at the sold-out Orlando stadium in Soweto, on Saturday afternoon.
Oswin Apollis scored the first goal, and then Patrick Maswanganyi converted from a spot kick.
The draw for the semi-final clashes will be made on Sunday after the Sundowns vs Richards Bay match.
