The City of Johannesburg’s Emergency Management Services (EMS) says no injuries or damage have been reported following an earth tremor last night.
They say the tremor was experienced in large parts of Johannesburg.
However, the Council for Geosciences has yet to confirm this including its magnitude.
EMS Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says, “Residents are urged to be safe. We remain on high alert overnight monitoring all seven regions of the City for any reports related to the earth tremor.”
