No arrests have yet been made following a mass shooting that left seven men dead at the Kanana Informal Settlement in Gugulethu on the Cape Flats.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police say the victims, aged between 26 and 30, were socialising in the kitchen when they were ambushed by unknown assailants.

They say the incident could be gang and extortion-related but this is still under investigation.
Three other men, who were asleep elsewhere in the house at the time of the attack, escaped unharmed.
