Commissioners at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
A new witness is expected to testify about the arrest of businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe when the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry resumes its hearings in Pretoria on Wednesday this morning.
Molefe, who is accused of murder and being a member of a criminal cartel, was arrested at his home in Sandhurst, Johannesburg, in December last year.
The arrest was in connection with the killing of Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart.
The rifle used to gun down Vereeniging Engineer Armand Swart has been linked to the murders of DJ Sumbody and DJ Vintos, whose names are Oupa Sefoka and Hector Buthelezi.
Katiso “KT” Molefe has been connected and charged in all those cases, alongside his co-accused.
Testimony before the Commission has also alleged that Molefe has paid a R2.5 million bribe to Acting Judge President Aubrey Ledwaba to secure his release in the Swart murder case.
This is an allegation that has been vehemently denied by Ledwaba.
