Newly-appointed Minister of Higher Education and Training Buti Manamela and one of his deputies, Nomusa Dube-Ncube, will be sworn in on Tuesday afternoon at Tuynhuys.
Manamela replaces former Minister Dr Nobuhle Nkabane who was axed on Monday.
Nkabane’s axing follows a public outcry after the appointment of Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETA) board chairpersons, which were said to be politically connected individuals.
Nkabane later withdrew those appointments.
