Ndimande brothers to be extradited to stand trial for AKA murder

Two brothers – Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande – accused of murdering music rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane in Durban in 2023, are expected to be brought back to South Africa from Eswatini on Tuesday to stand trial.

The pair had previously filed an appeal against a decision to have them extradited. They later abandoned their appeal which led to the extradition process getting underway.

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Mmamoloko Kubayi has received the extradition order from the Kingdom of Eswatini where the accused have been held.

The brothers are expected to join the five other accused in Durban, facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.

Forbes and Motsoane were gunned down outside a popular restaurant on Florida Road in Durban two years ago.
