Former Ekurhuleni Employee Relations Director Xolani Nciza.
Former Employee Relations Head Xolani Nciza has testified that his suspension from the Ekurhuleni Metro and the events that followed not only impacted his family life but his church life too.
Nciza concluded his three-day testimony at the Madlanga Commission on Thursday.
His testimony centered around suspended EMPD deputy police chief Brigadier Julius Mkhwanazi and the subsequent soured relationship with then municipal manager Dr Imogen Mashazi.
Nciza told the commission that accusations of him being a fraud almost cost his position at church.
“A petition was then launched with the office of the Bishop of the Anglican Church in the Highveld Diosis seeking to remove me from all ministerial positions in the church. At the time I was a church warden in the parish and also a lay canon which is an advisor to the Bishop in the Anglican church so a petition premised on the notion that I have been dismissed on fraud and dishonesty.”
