Slain cousins killed in Mamelodi.
The case against 38-year-old Tebogo Mnisi, who is linked to the killing of cousins Tshiamo and Baleseng Moramaga in Mamelodi East in October last year, has been postponed in the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
The postponement to the 20th of May 2026 is to allow for further investigations, including the collection of an outstanding post-mortem report and hospital records.
Mnisi has abandoned his bail application and remains in custody.
He faces five charges, including two counts of premeditated murder, as well as the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
State prosecutor, whose identity cannot be disclosed due to a court order, explains.
“I have a clear direction from the office of the public prosecutions that we remand the matter for the next two months, on the 20th of May, for further investigations, as well as the J88 and the postmortem and other valid evidence.”
