The State alleges that Molefe orchestrated the murders in collaboration with his co-accused.
During his bail application, the investigating officer told the court that Molefe faces multiple charges, including murder and conspiracy to commit murder, connected to a series of alleged contract killings involving DJs.
The State says forensic evidence links high-calibre rifles used in DJ Sumbody’s murder to other high-profile killings, including that of DJ Vintos and Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart.
The State further disclosed that Molefe has a prior drug-related conviction in the United Kingdom and previously used a false passport to travel abroad.
