Electricity and Energy Minister Doctor Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says municipalities owe Eskom more than R90 billion.
He says the figure stood at R94 billion between January and March this year.

Ramokgopa revealed this in a written reply to a Parliamentary question from Kevin Mileam, a Democratic Alliance MP.
Mileham wanted to know which municipalities were defaulting in their Eskom payments and the total debt they owed.
