Multi-vehicle crash causes traffic jam on N1 to Pretoria

A number of injuries have been reported following a multi-vehicle crash on the N1 between Old Road and Brakfontein interchange towards Pretoria.

Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa says traffic is severely backed up from Johannesburg towards Pretoria.

“Three lanes blocked, traffic severely backed up as you move from Johannesburg towards Pretoria. We advise motorists to use alternative routes, it can be your N3 or your R21. It is going to take some time for the road or lanes to reopened. Please drive safely,” warns Sibasa.
