Msiza case postponed until next year amid SCA separation bid

The case against former African National Congress (ANC) Limpopo Treasurer, Danny Msiza has been provisionally postponed to next year, pending their application to the Supreme Court of Appeal for his matter to be separated from that of his co-accused.

Msiza’s counsel also says that they need outstanding documents from the State.

Msiza made a brief appearance before the High Court in Pretoria.

He and his co-accused face charges relating to the alleged VBS looting scheme.

Key witnesses implicated Msiza. They say he used his political clout to convince municipalities to illegally invest funds into VBS Mutual Bank.
