A torched police bakkie
A 31-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly setting alight a police vehicle in Thulamahashe, in Mpumalanga on Saturday outside the premises of the Mhala Police Station.
According to reports, the police officers were returning from a routine patrol and had parked outside the police station.
Provincial Police spokesperson Jabu Ndubane says police officers heard noise and found the police bakkie on fire.
She says when police came out, the suspect ran away from the vehicle and they chased and caught him, and he was arrested.
