Mpofu’s LPC hearing postponed

Electricity challenges and the amendment of some charges have promoted the postponement of the disciplinary hearing of Senior Counsel Advocate Dali Mpofu to a date yet to be announced.

He was appearing before the independent committee of the Legal Practice Council (LPC) in Pretoria.

Seven of the charges against Mpofu have been amended.

Mpofu is accused of breaching the code of conduct and bringing the legal profession into disrepute. This after he made remarks with sexual innuendos during now Chief Justice, Mandisa Maya’s interview for the position.

Mpofu has described the charges as frivolous.
