Motorists urged to exercise caution on Gauteng’s wet roads

The City of Johannesburg Emergency Services have urged motorists to exercise caution as the roads remain slippery following overnight rainfall.

EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says they will remain on alert for any possible incidents.

“As most roads are wet and slippery, extend a safe following distance. Our residents in low laying areas to continue to avoid crossing river streams, while conducting daily activities. We still remain on high alert together with our specialized teams.”
