Motorists heading to KZN warned not to speed

The N3 Toll Concession says many motorists making their way to KwaZulu-Natal this holiday season are speeding and disregarding warning signs at crash scenes, even in wet weather.

N3TC Manager Praveen Sunderlall says this makes it dangerous for their staff and paramedics to do their work at crash scenes.

Sunderlall says many motorists drive between 130 and 140 km/h, stay in the fast lane, and try to push their way through areas where traffic is backed up.

He is calling on people to go back to the basics of road safety, especially with high traffic volumes expected from Friday to Tuesday.
