More arrests expected in missing journalist, partner’s case: Masemola

National Police Commissioner, General, Fannie Masemola says arrests of two more suspects are imminent in the case of missing journalist, Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli.

Five suspects that have already been arrested appeared in the KwaMhlanga Magistrate’s Court in Mpumalanga on Friday.

A few days ago, police discovered remains believed to be those of the couple in Rust de Winter, Limpopo.

Masemola has also given the assurance that they will fast-track the DNA processing of the remains.

He says, “Five people arrested we think they are the right people. There’s still two that are on the run. One of them is a parolee. We know them and we will find them. In terms of the DNA, we will try our best to expedite, but give and take a month to come to the right conclusion.”
