The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) has confirmed the resignation of Lucky Montana as one of its members of Parliament (MPs) in the National Assembly.

His exit comes shortly after the resignation of fellow MKP MP Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla.

In a statement, the party says while it has accepted Montana’s departure from Parliament, it is assured he remains a committed member of the organisation and its broader political mission.

The MKP adds that his service to the party and to South Africans was marked by loyalty, courage and unwavering conviction.
