Mokgotsi makes formal statement to police following attempted hit

Police have confirmed that controversial businessman Brown Mogotsi has given them a formal statement following the attempted hit on his life.  

This after his whereabouts have been unknown following the incident on Monday.

Mogotsi was travelling in his vehicle on Monday night when he was allegedly shot at multiple times by men driving a white bakkie along the N3 highway towards Vosloorus, on Gauteng’s East Rand. 

The bullet-ridden vehicle he was travelling in is still currently parked at the Vosloorus Police Station. 

The red Chevrolet Aveo has several bullet holes, three of which were directed at the driver’s seat. 

However, Mokgotsi escaped the incident without a scratch.
