Moiloa leaves a rich legacy in the ANC: Hope Papo

The ANC in Gauteng says the late former Housing MEC Dikgang Uhuru Moiloa was committed to the revolution. Moiloa’s funeral is underway in Dinokana outside Zeerust in the North West.

He passed away at his Roodepoort home last week at the age of 67.

The ANC’s first Deputy Secretary-General Nomvula Mokonyane, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and North West Premier Lazarus Mokgosi are among hundreds of mourners attending the funeral.

Gauteng ANC Coordinator Hope Papo says Moiloa leaves a rich legacy in the ANC, government and the provincial legislature.

‘It’s a legacy of commitment to the revolution, honesty to the revolution, working for the revolution inside the organisation and in government. Remember, he was also a Deputy Speaker, he headed a number of portfolio committees in the legislature. He was like my older brother and  I always looked up to him.’ –  Reporting by Thabiso Moss.
