MKP supports Zuma’s recent Morocco visit

The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK)Party has publicly endorsed former President, Jacob Zuma’s recent diplomatic engagement with the Kingdom of Morocco, reigniting debate over South Africa’s foreign policy stance on Western Sahara.

National Chairperson, Nkosinathi Nhleko, says Zuma’s visit marks a continuation of discussions initiated in 2017 with King Mohammed VI, aimed at normalising relations between the two nations.

The MK Party has released a policy document supporting Morocco‘s territorial claims, citing historical ties and Morocco’s support for South Africa’s liberation struggle.
