The Chairperson of the Madlanga Commission Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga has ruled that the media and the public will not sit in today’s proceedings.
It says this is because the subject matter is at the center of the ongoing investigations.
The media has not opposed the ruling to hold hearings in camera.
The commission is investigating allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the country’s justice system.
On Tuesday, proceedings at the Commission got off to a challenging start when Witness X, who was testifying remotely through an intermediary, encountered a technical glitch.
The technical challenge, according to Justice Madlanga had the potential of compromising his life.
