Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has responded to allegations by KwaZulu-Natal provincial commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, linking him to corruption.
Mchunu says he will await the judicial commission of inquiry established by President Cyril Ramaphosa to give his side.
Mchunu was speaking on the sidelines of the ANC Musa Dladla region’s celebration of International Mandela Day.
This is Mchunu’s first public appearance since being placed on special leave.
