Mpumalanga hosts a race against gender-based violence and femicide.
A running Club in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, has held a race against gender-based violence and femicide. The race follows the killing of 19-year-old Lusanda Mathabela allegedly by her ex-boyfriend and his friend in her home on Monday.
Two people were arrested and they appeared briefly in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. They will be back in court on Wednesday next week to apply for bail.
