ANC Deputy President Paul Mashatile called on youth to emulate the legacy of struggle stalwart, Steve Tshwete.
Mashatile laid a wreath at Tshwete’s gravesite in Peelton in the Eastern Cape.

Tshwete served in a number of cabinet positions including Sports and Recreation.
Mashatile says his legacy ought to be preserved.
“We are going to do an inaugural lecture today about the life and times of comrade Steve Tshwete so that we can teach the younger generation of this important history. The ANC launched a foundation course we are teaching our members about the history of the organisation. The leaders of the organisation but more importantly it’s values what does it stand for which is to serve our people.”
