Deputy President Paul Mashatile will attend the Amandla Ngawethu Universal Church on Friday morning for the Good Friday Church Service.
The service will take place at the Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg.
Mashatile is expected to be joined by Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng Health MEC Faith Mazibuko and other senior government officials.
Acting spokesperson for the Deputy President, Keith Khoza, “The Deputy President has been tasked by the President to lead the Government’s interaction with the Inter-Faith communities across South Africa as a champion of the country’s social cohesion and nation-building initiatives.”
At the invitation of Bishop Marcelo Pires, tomorrow, I will attend the Amandla Ngawethu Good Friday church service of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.
