Mashatile engages AmaMpondo King, stakeholders on rural development

Deputy President Paul Mashatile is visiting the Amampondo aseNyandeni Palace in Libode, Eastern Cape.

He will engage with King Ndamase Ndamase and other stakeholders on matters of service delivery, land ownership and tenure rights, as well as fast-tracking socio-economic development in rural areas.

“We are one sovereign government with different spheres of government, and when those spheres of government work within the context of cooperative government and inter-governmental relations, it makes the work of government much easier and the impact becomes more effective, especially in terms of service delivery. That’s why we are meeting here with stakeholders, after the stakeholder, His Excellency the Deputy President will be meeting with the broader community to interact.”
