Higher Education Minister Buti Manamela is launching the new Fourth Industrial Revolution Centre of Excellence at Motheo TVET College in Bloemfontein.
The centre is part of a national Education Training and Development Practices SETA (ETDP SETA) initiative to equip young people with future-ready skills and link education with industry needs.
Since 2020, the ETDP SETA has strategically invested in building 4IR Centres of Excellence in TVET Colleges nationwide.
To date, nine of the 10 initial centres are fully operational.
