The case of a man arrested in connection with the murder of two young women in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, is expected to resume on Monday at the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
22-year-old Tshiamo Moramaga and her cousin, 21-year-old Baleseng Moramaga, were fatally shot after a night out, in October last year.
Their bodies were found lying next to a road in Mamelodi East Extension 17, with multiple gunshot wounds.
38-year-old, Tebogo Mnisi is expected to return to the dock today after spending more than two months behind bars.
This after he abandoned his bail application during his first appearance in October last year.
He is facing five charges including two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, as well as possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
It’s still unclear at this stage if the state will be adding more charges to the docket.
