Iqraam Rayners’ 65th minute strike was enough to give Mamelodi Sundowns a one nil win over Raja Casablanca of Morocco in Group B of the CAF Champions league at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
It was a winning start to new coach Miguel Cardoso’s tenure as Sundowns got their first win in the group stages after two draws.
Our final home game of the year ends with 3 huge points on the board! A massive thank you to the amazing support from our supporters! 🙌

And here at home, Polokwane City moved to the top of the Betway Premiership table.
They recorded a one-nil victory over Marumo Gallants at the Peter Mokaba Stadium courtesy of a Mokibelo Ramabu goal 20 minutes into the match.
The win lifts Polokwane City to 23 points from 12 matches, two points clear of Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
But Sundowns and Pirates who campaigned in the CAF Champions League this weekend, have four matches in hand.
