Former Public Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba has been charged with corruption related to a multi-billion-rand tender at Transnet.
The tender involves the procurement of more than 1 000 locomotives worth more than R54 billion.
Gigaba appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg alongside four co-accused on Tuesday morning.
