Malema denies claims of Ndlozi being barred as ‘shebeen gossip’

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has dismissed reports that former party spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has been barred from attending the upcoming national people’s assembly as nothing but “shebeen gossip”.

The EFF leader’s comments come in light of prominent senior leaders who have departed from the party such as former Deputy President Floyd Shivambu and former national chairperson Dali Mpofu.

Malema says it is only the EFF that will announce on Ndlozi if there is anything regarding the matter.

“EFF has never said anything if we’ve got anything to tell you we’ll communicate it. So when you gossip at Kitchener’s in Braamfontein and after communicating at Kitchener’s you want us to be part of Kitchener’s discussions. Don’t involve us in that. We don’t know what you’re talking about. And if we have anything that we want to communicate with you we would’ve said so.”

Malema briefs media ahead of NPA in December

Malema assures the Red Berets not to panic as the party is here to stay and the organisation will not collapse.

Malema says if members of the organisation are not happy with his leadership style they are free to leave.

The EFF leader and other officials conducted a site visit followed by a presser at Nasrec Expo Centre ahead of the party’s National People’s Assembly in December.

He says the Red Berets have no relationship with the uMkhonto We Sizwe party and he still maintains that former President Jacob Zuma is corrupt.
