Magadzi’s memorial service to be held in Polokwane

African National Congress Cadre Dikeledi Magadzi has passed.

Former Transport Deputy Minister Dikeledi Magadzi‘s memorial service will be held at the Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane on Friday.

She died on Sunday at the age of 70.

Magadzi also served as Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister and Limpopo MEC for Safety and Security, as well as Agriculture.

Family spokesperson Edgar Mushwana says, “Let me start firstly, by thanking the President for having declared this a special funeral, official funeral category 2. The funeral will be on Saturday at 7 o’clock at Jake Botes Hall. We are very thankful even for the organizers of the memorial service today, because as you can all imagine, it’s during Christmas and people are busy, but they took their time off during this festive season. People were preparing and working. They actually had to put their lives on hold in order to make this successful.” – Reporting by Nsuku Shiluvana
