Motorists travelling between Durban and the KwaZulu-Natal north coast have been advised that the M4 highway is closed due to the Durban Ironman triathlon race.
Traffic officials say the M4 between Sandile Thusi Road in Durban and eMdloti on the north coast will remain closed until 2:30pm this afternoon.
Motorists have been advised to use the N2 for this period.
