Longwe Twala, the son of music producer, Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala has been re-arrested.

This after he failed to appear in court last month after he was released from custody when his lawyers argued he was not a flight risk.

A warrant for his arrest was then issued.

In September, Twala allegedly broke into his father’s studio and stole equipment worth R200000.

He was arrested early last month after his father opened a case of housebreaking and robbery against him.

Charges against his brother, Sello, were dropped due to lack of evidence.

He has been out on warning which was granted with conditions.

Some of Twala’s release conditions included that he stay free from drugs and alcohol for the duration of the trial.
