The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) is in the High Court in Pretoria to continue its bid to have the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry dismantled.
President Cyril Ramaphosa established the commission following KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi’s allegations that senior police officials interfere with police operations and have links to criminal syndicates.
The officials include Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has been placed on special leave.
